India - Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh's territory was part of a game reserve that belonged to the maharaja of Rewa. Its popularity was due to the local discovery of white tigers. The maharaja himself ordered the capture of the first white individual for the reproduction in captivity. Today white tigers are a major attraction of zoos and animal exhibitions around the world. Most of these animals are probably related to the wild individuals from Rewa.
