Supramonte - Dorgali (Nuoro)

Dolomitic massif located in the territory of Oliena, Dorgali, Orgosolo and Urzulei in centre-eastern Sardinia. It is a wilderness area with primary forests of holm-oak (Quercus ilex, the largest blocks in the mediterranean area), caves, archaeological sites and endemic species. The moufflon (Ovis musimon) is the flagship animal of this area.
