This famous tiger reserve covers an area of 39,200 hectars with forested hills, grasslands and a system of fresh-water lakes (Raj Bagh, Padam Talav, Malik Talav) which characterizes the landscape and makes possible an important diversity of wildlife and vegetation. The reserve is dominated by an old fortress that gives a touch of enchantment to the park's atmosphere.
